US Patent Issued to GloFish on March 25 for "Recombinant constructs and transgenic fluorescent ornamental fish therefrom" (Iowa, Minnesota, Texas, Connecticut, Florida Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,256,719, issued on March 25, was assigned to GloFish LLC (Earth City, Mo.).

"Recombinant constructs and transgenic fluorescent ornamental fish therefrom" was invented by Alan Blake (Austin, Texas), Richard Crockett (Wilton, Conn.), Jeffrey Essner (Ames, Iowa), Perry Hackett (Saint Paul, Minn.) and Aidas Nasevicius (Tampa, Fla.).
