ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,310,124, issued on May 20, was assigned to GLOBALFOUNDRIES U.S. Inc. (Malta, N.Y.).

"Photodiodes" was invented by Rajendran Krishnasamy (Essex Junction, Vt.), John J. Ellis-Monaghan (Grand Isle, Vt.), Siva P. Adusumilli (South Burlington, Vt.), Ramsey Hazbun (Colchester, Vt.) and Steven M. Shank (Jericho, Vt.).
