ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,353,817, issued on July 8, was assigned to GlobalFoundries U.S. Inc. (Malta, N.Y.).

"Pcell verification" was invented by Alain F. Loiseau (Williston, Vt.), Romain H. A. Feuillette (Williston, Vt.) and Mujahid Muhammad (Essex Junction, Vt.).
