US Patent Issued to GlobalFoundries U.S. on Aug. 12 for "Compound-semiconductor waveguides with airgap cladding" (Vermont, New York Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,386,115, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to GlobalFoundries U.S. Inc. (Malta, N.Y.).

"Compound-semiconductor waveguides with airgap cladding" was invented by Mark Levy (Williston, Vt.), Siva P. Adusumilli (South Burlington, Vt.) and Yusheng Bian (Ballston Lake, N.Y.).
