ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,459,863, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Glass Processing Solutions LLC (Richfield Springs, N.Y.).
"Activated glass pozzolan" was invented by Kevin MacDonald (Mendota Heights, Minn.) and Mary Christiansen (Mendota Heights, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein are processes for the activation of glass pozzolan as well as the activated product. Methods of using the activated product are also described."
The patent was filed on Sept. 28, 2023, under Application No. 18/374,498.
