ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,486,271, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Gilead Sciences Inc. (Foster City, Calif.).

"Solid forms of a toll-like receptor modulator" was invented by Brandon Heath Brown (Burlingame, Calif.) and Paul A. Roethle (Berkeley, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides crystalline forms, solvates and hydrates of 4-amino-2-butoxy-8-(3-(pyrrolidin-1-ylmethyl)benzyl)-7,8-dihydropteridin-6(5H)-one, and methods of making."

The patent was filed on Aug. 17, 2023, under Application No. 18/451,611.
