ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,486,207, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Gevo Inc. (Englewood, Colo.).

"Simultaneous dehydration, dimerization, and metathesis of C2-C5 alcohols" was invented by Jonathan Smith (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) and Madeline Sjodin (Englewood, Colo.).
