ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,344,688, issued on July 1, was assigned to Georgia Tech Research Corp. (Atlanta).
"Solution-processable triazole-based polymers and methods of making the same" was invented by Nicholas Bruno (Atlanta) and M. G. Finn (Atlanta).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are polymers comprising at least one alkyne functional group, at least one azide functional group, and a conformational bend outside of coplanarity of 30 or greater. Also disclosed herein are methods of making and using the same."
The patent was filed on Aug. 20, 2020, under Application No. 17/634,406.
