ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,227,827, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Georgia Tech Research Corp. (Atlanta).

"Methods to impart color and durable properties to substrates" was invented by William Judson Ready (Atlanta), Jason Hayes Nadler (Decatur, Ga.), Stephan Turano (Atlanta) and Brent Karl Wagner (Marietta, Ga.).
