ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. PP36,768, issued on June 24, was assigned to GENVIV HOLDING LLC (Miami).

"Gypsophila plant named 'ESM G057'" was invented by Maria Elena Guerrero (Quito, Ecuador).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Gypsophila plant named 'ESM G057', characterized by its strong flowering stems; uniform and freely flowering habit; large and dense inflorescences with large double white-colored flowers; relatively high cut flower yield; and good postproduction longevity."

The patent was filed on Dec. 14, 2024, under Application No. 18/981,531.
