ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,354,130, issued on July 8, was assigned to Genentech Inc. (South San Francisco, Calif.).

"Combination therapies" was invented by Gordon Bray (San Francisco) and Iris Chan (San Francisco).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates generally to the fields of molecular biology and growth factor regulation. More specifically, the invention relates to therapies for the treatment of pathological conditions, such as cancer."

The patent was filed on Aug. 17, 2023, under Application No. 18/451,452.
