ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,460,723, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Geffers Patent GmbH (Gundelfingen, Germany).
"Ring-shaped joint cover" was invented by Sandra Geffers (Gundelfingen, Germany) and Heiko Geffers (Gundelfingen, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to a ring-shaped joint tape for use in sanitary applications. The joint tape is designed to cover joints passing around sanitary objects."
