ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 29 -- United States Patent no. 12,208,372, issued on Jan. 28, was assigned to GE HealthCare Ltd. (Buckinghamshire, Great Britain).
"Solid phase conditioning" was invented by Nicolas Verbrugge (Loncin, Belgium), Xavier Y. A. Franci (Loncin, Belgium) and Natthawadee Thawinwisan (Loncin, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a method for conditioning reversed phase SPE cartridges that provides certain advantages compared with known such methods. The method of the invention finds particular use in the automated synthesis of radiolabeled compounds where SPE is used for example in the purification steps."
