ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,324,717, issued on June 10, was assigned to GC Corp. (Shizuoka, Japan).

"Dental restorative set and method of restoring tooth" was invented by Koji Tanaka (Tokyo) and Daizaburo Mori (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A dental restorative set includes a glass ionomer cement and a composite resin, wherein the composite resin contains a (meth)acrylate having an acid group."
