ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,466,090, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to GB II Corp. (Tualatin, Ore.).

"Retractable knife for rapid manual deployment while fully grasped" was invented by Joseph Caswell (Newbury Park, Calif.).
