ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,461,362, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to FURUKAWA ELECTRIC Co. LTD. (Tokyo).

"Optical module and optical device" was invented by Kazuya Nagashima (Tokyo) and Yozo Ishikawa (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An optical module includes: an optical device; an array lens member that integrally includes a plurality of parallel lens units optically connected to the optical device; and a correction optical element configured to correct light that passes through the lens units."
