ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,431,620, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Fujikura Ltd. (Tokyo) and International Business Machines Corp. (Armonk, N.Y.).

"Phased array antenna" was invented by Kiyoshi Kobayashi (Sakura, Japan), Ken Sakuma (Sakura, Japan), Mark Yeck (Bloomingdale, N.J.), Bodhisatwa Sadhu (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and Arun Paidimarri (New York).
