US Patent Issued to FUJIFILM on April 29 for "Storage case and package" (Japanese Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,288,572, issued on April 29, was assigned to FUJIFILM Corp. (Tokyo).

"Storage case and package" was invented by Yosuke Sumiya (Kanagawa, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A storage case includes a support surface that supports side surfaces of a plurality of magnetic tape cartridges, and the support surface has a first surface, and a second surface positioned closer to the side surfaces than the first surface."

The patent was filed on Feb. 28, 2022, under Application No. 17/683,263.
