ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,490,841, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to Frito-Lay North America Inc. (Plano, Texas).
"Universal chips dispenser" was invented by Rahul Sadashiv Kamble (Faridabad, India), Gurmeet Singh Bhutani (Gurgaon, India) and Amandeep Singh Gulati (New Delhi).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A universal snack dispenser capable of providing crisp snacks to customers offers a touchless experience and delivers a sufficient amount of the snacks independent of the type and container."
The patent was filed on Feb. 15, 2022, under Application No. 18/277,531.
