ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,335,505, issued on June 17, was assigned to FRAUNHOFER-GESELLSCHAFT ZUR FORDERUNG DER ANGEWANDTEN FORSCHUNG E.V. (Munich).
"Determining a parametrization for context-adaptive binary arithmetic coding" was invented by Phan Hoang Tung Nguyen (Berlin), Benjamin Bross (Berlin), Heiko Schwarz (Berlin), Detlev Marpe (Berlin) and Thomas Wiegand (Berlin).
