US Patent Issued to Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Foerderung der angewandten Forschung on Oct. 21 for "Partition-based intra-coding concept" (German Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,452,421, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Foerderung der angewandten Forschung e.V. (Munich).

"Partition-based intra-coding concept" was invented by Santiago De Luxan Hernandez (Berlin), Heiko Schwarz (Berlin), Detlev Marpe (Berlin) and Thomas Wiegand (Berlin).
