ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,262,035, issued on March 25, was assigned to Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Foerderung der angewandten Forschung e.V. (Munich).
"Concept for picture/video data streams allowing efficient reducibility or efficient random access" was invented by Robert Skupin (Berlin), Yago Sanchez De La Fuente (Berlin), Thomas Schierl (Berlin), Cornelius Hellge (Berlin), Karsten Grueneberg (Berlin) and Thomas Wiegand (Berlin).
