ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,374,847, issued on July 29, was assigned to FOXCONN (KUNSHAN) COMPUTER CONNECTOR Co. LTD. (Kunshan, China) and FOXCONN INTERCONNECT TECHNOLOGY Ltd. (Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands).

"Cable assembly with insert-molded lead-frame assembly" was invented by Terrance F. Little (Fullerton, Calif.), Richard Lee Malehorn II (York, Pa.) and Haozhe Zi (Irvine, Calif.).
