ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,426,569, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Fox Robotics Laboratuvar Teknoloji Hizmetleri Sanayi Ltd. Sirketi (Pendik/Istanbul, Turkey).

"Electrical teat dipping" was invented by Ali Risvanli (Elazig, Turkey) and Burak Tanyeri (Elazig, Turkey).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A design is an apparatus for protecting dairy cows against mastitis by enabling rapid closure of the ends of the teats, which remain open for at least two hours after milking, to prevent them from being exposed to bacteria."

The patent was filed on June 11, 2021, under Application No. 18/276,876.
