"Torque tube for a renewable energy system" was invented by Ivaylo Bozoukov (Katy, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A renewable energy production system includes a plurality of solar panels and a torque tube. The torque tube has an exterior shape defined by an arcuate surface and a flat surface connected to the arcuate surface. The plurality of solar panels are coupled to the flat surface. A plurality of support columns is used to support the torque tube."
