US Patent Issued to FORDOZ Pharma on Oct. 7 for "Injectable controlled-release formulations of progestogen drugs" (New Jersey Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,433,841, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to FORDOZ Pharma Corp. (East Windsor, N.J.).

"Injectable controlled-release formulations of progestogen drugs" was invented by Zengli Fu (Kendall Park, N.J.), Sydney Ugwu (North Brunswick, N.J.) and James He (Green Brook, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to injectable microspheres and formulations comprising the microspheres for controlled release of progestogen hormones."

The patent was filed on Feb. 15, 2021, under Application No. 17/791,977.
