ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,429,561, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Ford Global Technologies LLC (Dearborn, Mich.).

"Sensor assembly" was invented by Alexander Petniunas (Canton, Mich.), Venkatesh Krishnan (Canton, Mich.), James Robert Hurd III (Northville, Mich.), Rashaun Phinisee (Ypsilanti, Mich.), Daniel Klevorn (Westland, Mich.) and Michael Robertson Jr. (Garden City, Mich.).
