ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,474, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Ford Global Technologies LLC (Dearborn, Mich.).

"Manifold to selectively inflate seat airbags" was invented by Zhibing Deng (Northville, Mich.), Joseph E. Abramczyk (Farmington Hills, Mich.) and Deepak Patel (Canton, Mich.).
