ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,459,438, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Ford Global Technologies LLC (Dearborn, Mich.).
"Front trunk configured to facilitate wireless charging" was invented by Michael John Harmon (Northville, Mich.), Jesse Rene Diephuis (West Bloomfield, Mich.) and Ryan Wayne Warner (Ann Arbor, Mich.).
