ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,325,279, issued on June 10, was assigned to Ford Global Technologies LLC (Dearborn, Mich.).

"Localized brightness detection for a vehicle" was invented by Robert Schroeter (Livonia, Mich.), Mahmoud Yousef Ghannam (Canton, Mich.) and Justin Miller (Berkley, Mich.).
