ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,237,720, issued on Feb. 25, was assigned to Ford Global Technologies LLC (Dearborn, Mich.).

"Electric machine thermal management" was invented by Dengfu Zhang (Northville, Mich.), Brian Christian Orr (Macomb, Mich.), Alfredo R. Munoz (Ann Arbor, Mich.), Franco Leonardi (Dearborn Heights, Mich.) and Joel Hetrick (Ann Arbor, Mich.).
