US Patent Issued to FLX Systems on May 27 for "Reporting method" (Alabama Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,315,127, issued on May 27, was assigned to FLX Systems LLC (Wyoming, Mich.).

"Reporting method" was invented by John K. Thompson (Fultondale, Ala.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A paperless image-based reporting method provides graphic overlays on a display of a camera equipped mobile device which provides instructions and or permit input while also permitting a user to capture at least one image desired for a report. Some embodiments permit the overlay to capture still images while simultaneously capturing video with a single camera. A report can be automatically generated and then sent to a server."
