ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. PP36,728, issued on June 10, was assigned to Florida Foundation Seed Producers Inc. (Marianna, Fla.).

"Mandarin plant named 'N40W-5-1'" was invented by Jude Grosser (Winter Haven, Fla.).
