ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,478,818, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Flame Security International Pty Ltd. (Kensington, Australia).
"Foamable composition" was invented by Ka Wai Fan (Kensington, Australia).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Foamable liquid compositions containing aqueous dispersions of cellulose nanocrystals and/or cellulose nanofibrils, nanoclay and surfactant are provided. The foamable liquid compositions provide stable foams useful in the protection of structures against the spread of fire."
The patent was filed on Feb. 13, 2025, under Application No. 19/052,695.
