ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,358,027, issued on July 15, was assigned to FITESA FILM PRODUCTS LLC (Simpsonville, S.C.).
"Scrubbing wipe and method for making same" was invented by Andrew D. Maschino (Paris, Ill.) and Randolph Scott McCoskey (Farmersburg, Ind.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A scrubbing wipe includes a scrim that includes a plurality of filaments, and a formed film attached to the scrim. The formed film encompasses at least 50% of the circumferences of at least a portion of the plurality of filaments and includes a plurality of apertured extended cells extending away from the scrim."
