US Patent Issued to First Quality Tissue on Nov. 4 for "Soft, low lint, through air dried roll bath tissue" (South Carolina Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,460,354, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to First Quality Tissue LLC (Great Neck, N.Y.).

"Soft, low lint, through air dried roll bath tissue" was invented by James E. Sealey II (Belton, S.C.) and Byrd Tyler Miller IV (Easley, S.C.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multi-ply through air dried structured tissue having a bulk softness of less than 10 TS7 and a lint value of 5.0 or less.
