ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,441,952, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to FIRMENICH SA (Satigny, Switzerland).
"Green odorant" was invented by Herve Mosimann (Satigny, Switzerland) and Anthony Alexander Birkbeck (Satigny, Switzerland).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein is a method of using, as a perfuming ingredients, a composition of matter including a compound of formula (I) and a compound of formula (II, which are useful perfuming ingredients of the green, floral/rosy type. Also described herein are a perfuming composition and a perfuming consumer product including same."
