ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,447,134, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to FIDIA FARMACEUTICI S.p.A. (Abano Terme, Italy).
"Multilayer composite material" was invented by Giovanni Gennari (Abano Terme, Italy), Monica Campisi (Abano Terme, Italy) and Anna Maria Zanellato (Abano Terme, Italy).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a multilayer composite material for the treatment of wounds and lesions and to a dressing comprising said multilayer material."
