ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,724, issued on May 13, was assigned to Fervo Energy Co. (Houston).

"Self-correcting flow in subsurface wells" was invented by Timothy Latimer (Houston) and Jack Norbeck (Golden, Colo.).
