ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,414,904, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Ferton Holding S.A. (Delemont, Switzerland).

"Composition for the remineralization of teeth" was invented by Frank Heidenau (Pegnitz, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a composition for the remineralization of teeth and to the use thereof. The composition comprises calcium phosphate (CaP) glass, and aqueous silica sol."

The patent was filed on July 3, 2020, under Application No. 17/624,664.
