ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,410,043, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Fenton Mobility Products Inc. (Randolf, N.Y.).
"Extendable platform lift assembly" was invented by Scott Ivan Fenton (Sinclairville, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An extendable lift assembly for a vehicle, including a sliding rail assembly, including a plate slidably connected to the vehicle, and a knuckle arm pivotably connected to the plate, a first platform pivotably connected to the knuckle arm, and a second platform extending from and pivotably connected to the plate."
The patent was filed on Oct. 2, 2023, under Application No. 18/479,364.
