ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,380,754, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Federal Express Corp. (Memphis, Ind.).

"Methods and apparatus for providing enhanced automated access to a dispatched personal delivery device operative to transport a shipment item" was invented by Christine Joanpui Lau (Frisco, Texas) and Ryan William Hamilton (Frisco, Texas).
