ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,280,915, issued on April 22, was assigned to FAVORSEAL LLC (Avon, Ohio).

"Knitted net carrier" was invented by David Wince (Avon, Ohio) and Eric Aites (Avon, Ohio).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A knitted net carrier includes a plurality of strands of high tenacity polyester yarn knitted together in the form of a pattern. The netting may be substantially in the shape of a tube having a length, a first end, and a second end. The first end and the second end may be fastened shut."

The patent was filed on Oct. 20, 2022, under Application No. 17/969,998.
