ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,414,600, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to FAST IP LLC (Lindon, Utah).
"Motion-assist footwear comprising a force translator" was invented by Craig Cheney (Lindon, Utah).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A motion-assist shoe having a force translator with a dynamic portion comprised of a resiliently deformable material and configured to bias a rearward portion of a sole portion of the shoe upward relative to a forward portion of the sole portion."
The patent was filed on Jan. 8, 2024, under Application No. 18/407,182.
