ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,856, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Exceptional Concepts LLC (New York).
"Car seat liner" was invented by Alisa Koysman (Edina, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A liner for a child safety seat designed with horizontal slits and fasteners and an elastic gathering at the upper portion of the car seat liner to permit the car seat liner to be draped over and secured to the car seat using a five-point harness system. The overlapping portions of the car seat liner prevent a car seat from becoming soiled when used by an infant or child."
