ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,378,387, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Evonik Operations Gmbh (Essen, Germany).
"Glass-filled PAEK moulding compounds" was invented by Thomas Perl (Frankfurt am Main, Germany), Jonas Scherble (Darmstadt, Germany), Frank Claus (Essenheim, Germany), Marc Knebel (Heddesheim, Germany) and Ingrid Velthoen (Beek, Netherlands).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is directed to moulding compounds comprising polyarylene ether ketones and glass particles, with the glass particles being broken, irregularly shaped particles."
