ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,527,604, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Evolution Spine (Dallas).
"Vertebral plate" was invented by Ripul Panchal (Southlake, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A vertebral plate and method is disclosed. The vertebral plate comprises a frame having a triangular shape. A screw hole is present on each corner of the frame. Each screw hole is designed to receive a screw. Optionally, a viewing window is disposed within an interior of the frame."
The patent was filed on Dec. 4, 2019, under Application No. 16/703,524.
