ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,510,662, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Evident Canada Inc. (Quebec, Canada).
"Volumetric inspection using row-column addressed probe" was invented by Benoit Lepage (L'Ancienne-Lorette, Canada).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An ultrasound probe is capable of detecting flaws in an object in a non-destructive manner. The probe includes a row-column addressed (RCA) array with a plurality of row and column electrodes. The probe can perform volumetric inspection of an object using the RCA array in different transmission and reception configurations."
