US Patent Issued to EUROPEAN DRILLING PROJECTS on Jan. 20 for "Multi-functional wellbore conditioning system" (Dutch Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,529,267, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to EUROPEAN DRILLING PROJECTS B.V. (Amsterdam).

"Multi-functional wellbore conditioning system" was invented by Tony Fitzgerald (Leiden, Netherlands) and Michael Thomas Newman (Tuitjenhorn, Netherlands).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "One-piece multi-functional wellbore conditioning system that combines reaming while drilling, wellbore conditioning, providing a plastering effect, improved stabilization and cleaning cuttings from a drilled hole.
