US Patent Issued to Euro Marine Group on March 4 for "Vessel sea chest" (Texas Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,240,564, issued on March 4, was assigned to Euro Marine Group Ltd. (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.).

"Vessel sea chest" was invented by George Grigol Chirakadze (Hickory Creek, Texas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A sea chest, discharge tank and black water discharge tank are disclosed, each comprising a chamber preferably formed integral with a vessel hull to eliminate multiple inlets/outlets to the vessel.
